YouTube and neuronka. I created a channel in the USA and this is what happened
At the moment, I have 9 YouTube channels. 4 in Russian and 5 in English.
In this article, I will share my experience with the use of artificial intelligence for an English-speaking audience. And I will save you time to make such mistakes if you plan to start a channel for the event.
Experts in YouTube say – make “American YouTube”, voice over a neuron, saw the content and you will be rich. I decided to test their words.
First, content generated or used by neuronka is not monetized. More precisely, it can be monetized until YouTube notices such a channel. Then can turn off monetization.
SecondI chose the gaming niche – it is the most low-paying and unprofitable niche to spend this time on. But I chose it because I have Russian-language content and it doesn’t take much time to translate and edit it into English. I can make about 3-4 videos a day so that I am ahead and not distracted by it.
First attempt
I recorded my voice in English and started voicing with neuronka. As a result, I had enough for 13 videosit 2.5 months patience! and I left this business. After that, one video got into the search and the number of views increased 😅
Didn’t continue posting videos because those views were through search. That is, you need to optimize SEO very well. Because YouTube gave almost no impressions for the entire video, I did not continue it despite this height.
Result: 46 subscribers, 775 hours in 10 months.
Second attempt
After 3 months, I decided to try the experiment again. As a result, I chose another neuron, which speaks more humanely and coolly (as it seemed to me).
I started teaching both long videos and shorts. There was no point in shorts at all (you have to be able to make them correctly) and I continued to post only long videos.
By 1.5 months after 10 videos the first tangible displays followed. The 10th roller generally flew into space and scored 91,000 views, Compared to others with 500-1000 views. The rating of the video was not high, about 70-80%. Compared to my Russian-language channel, 90%.
And then they started actively hating in the comments because of the neuron. “The videos are good, but the neuronka’s voice sucks, record your own.”
I actively started looking for someone who was ready to voice the video in English, because my pronunciation is terrible. And the subscriber responded, and he began voicing the following videos. But YouTube did not show them and no one appreciated his voice acting. So I don’t know if it got better with this voice or not.
The channel was killed by their dislikes and negative comments. Video rating dropped to 40%.
Result: 304 subscribers, 5300 hours in 5 months.
Conclusion
The other day we launched the 3rd channel, now there will be a voiceover by a person with an accent, we’ll see how it goes. And yes, the competition in this niche is high, because it’s a voiceover.
In the first 2 channels, we did not get to monetization 😊
Despite so many YouTube channels, I don’t have any successful ones, but I have experience. There is a channel that shows itself better than others. But his metrics are 15 times worse than I expected when I started this business. That is, during this period, the channel earned $2,000, and my calculation was from $30,000. You need to analyze, change your approach, talk to experts and try again.
Please share your successes or experiences, because I want to get out of these failures, your successful experience can help me. ⭐️
