Short description
The X.Org Foundation has discontinued support for 20 outdated X Windows System utilities, drivers, and libraries, with no updates or security maintenance. Several packages were deprecated due to being obsolete or having a lack of practical use, such as app/xdbedizzy, app/xsetmode and app/xsetpointer. Additionally, several libraries and drivers that were discontinued had long been unsupported or their support was disabled, such as lib/liboldX and lib/libXfontcache. The Foundation recommended updated projects or forks to replace the deprecated packages, such as app/xditview, with the inclusion of the GNU groff package.
