They will discuss the career development of a C++ developer, taking into account industry changes, and what skills the developer requires. We invite you to an online meeting about the career track of a C++ developer

On Wednesday, April 12, at 4:00 p.m. Moscow time, we will hold an online meeting called “

7+ nuances of a C++ developer’s career

” with the participation of our colleagues – managers, team leaders, as well as senior and middle developers from various teams of Kaspersky Lab.

The speakers will talk about the important elements of the career development of a C++ developer, taking into account the changes in the industry (from new language standards to the number of companies represented in Russia) and discuss that this development is usually not enough.


In particular, colleagues will touch on the following topics:

  • Why C/C++ will remain relevant for a long time, what can be created;
  • How to understand which operations in the code are really worth protecting, and which are optional;
  • 17th and 20th standards and their justified/unjustified application;
  • Why does a developer need a Linux toolkit and what part of specialists actually owns it;
  • What exactly are the software skills that a C++ developer needs and where to download them.
