VK Education is recruiting for programs and courses in fourteen in-demand technical and non-technical fields, including development, machine learning, information security, product research, and flexible skills. Training is free and oriented to different levels of training. The best students of the programs will be able to apply for a position in the company’s staff or an invitation to an internship.

The spring recruitment to VK Education programs includes three areas: IT courses, a Digital Camp project for non-technical specialties and a flexible skills course. Participants can expect practice-oriented training, among the formats are open lectures, asynchronous courses and programs with competitive selection.

The programs were developed by leading experts from VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru Mail and Cloud, VK Play, VK Tech and other company projects. Courses are filled with practice and company cases: under the guidance of experienced VK experts, students will work on real tasks and acquire a set of skills necessary for a career in IT.

Students can join one of ten programs in technical specialties:

• Data analysis and artificial intelligence: “Introduction to AI”, “Introduction to data analysis”, “Basics of machine learning”;

• Development: “Manual Testing”, “Web Services Development on Golang”, “Practical Quest: SRE Engineer”, “Basic Python”, “Algorithms and Data Structures”;

• “Informational security”;

• “Development of games and game market in the Russian Federation”.

Part of the programs will be held in an asynchronous format and will be available to everyone after registration — you can study video lectures and solve tasks at your own pace. In other programs, selection tests are provided, and the duration of training is three months. At the Digital Camp program, students will be able to choose one of three non-technical areas: “Product Management in IT”, “Marketing, Communications and Creativity in IT” and “Product Research in IT”. To study, it is necessary to pass a selection, the number of places is limited. In addition to the main program, open lectures on the fundamental topics of the areas will be held as part of the Digital Camp – they will be available to everyone.

Students can also learn planning tools, business communication skills and work with presentations as part of the special course “Flexible skills for starting a career”. The program is universal, the course will be useful to everyone who wants to develop comprehensively and improve not only technical, but also “soft” competencies.
