Twitch allowed streamers to simultaneously broadcast on any other service

Twitch has allowed streamers to stream simultaneously on any other platform, according to the company’s announcement at TwitchCon. Previously, users could only cross-stream on mobile platforms such as TikTok and Instagram**. Twitch now includes YouTube Live, Facebook Live**, Kick and Rumble as other services.

Recently, a number of Twitch streamers have begun to explore the possibility of entering into agreements with competitors of the service, including Kick. However, some popular authors have signed exclusive contracts with Twitch.

According to the updated rules of the service, the quality of broadcasts on Twitch should not be inferior to the quality on other platforms. Streamers limit the ability to post links to other services within the Twitch community.

In the future, the company promises to add a tool that will notify users that a streamer is simulcasting.

Twitch has also updated its rules for behavior outside of its service, including doxing and swatting. The platform has announced a number of product changes. The Guest Star option, which allows streamers to broadcast together with other users, will now be called Stream Together and will have the ability to merge chats.

Twitch continues to test Discovery Feed. This feature allows content creators to attract more viewers by posting short TikTok-style clips.
