Tmice X modular keyboard was presented on Kickstarter
Hong Kong-based Tmice has launched a modular keyboard on Kickstarter, where the modules connect using magnetic connectors. The keyboard itself costs 80 dollars, and for additional modules you will have to pay from 25 to 96 dollars.
Tmice X is a 68-key mechanical keyboard in an aluminum case. In it, the manufacturer installs Akko Cream Yellow switches with a hot-swappable option. On each face of the keyboard there is a magnetic connector for connecting additional modules.
For example, you can connect a docking station or function keys on top, and a nampad and macropad with a rotary knob on the side. There are only four modules in the collection so far, but the company plans to expand the line of accessories in the future.
The company has already collected the amount needed to start production. Deliveries will begin in the winter of 2024.
