The police in the USA stopped a driver wearing a Vision Pro headset for violation
In the social network Kh appeared a video of a user driving a car wearing an Apple Vision Pro headset. Soon he is stopped by the police.
In the video, it can be seen that the Tesla driver is typing something on a virtual keyboard while driving and is probably playing. At the same time, he does not keep his hands on the steering wheel.
The driver was identified as 21-year-old Dante Lentini, a product manager from Palo Alto. He posted a sensational video. The user has already received a lot of angry comments due to his disregard for driving rules.
The Vision Pro manual states that the headset should not be used while driving a moving vehicle, cycling, operating heavy machinery, or in any other situation that requires attention to safety.
Sales of the headset in the US started on February 2, so the incident happened on the first day of sales.
Apple itself has published several documents in which it talks about possible discomfort when using Vision Pro and how to deal with it. The company emphasized again that the headset should be worn in a “controlled” room or outdoors where there are no obstructions.
