The Linx Cloud is certified for compliance with the first level of protection of UZ-1 and K1 (GIS)
Specialists of the “National Certification Center” (NAC), which is part of the “Informzakhist” Group, certified the Linx Cloud cloud platform for the security level UZ-1 and K1. The certification confirmed the disaster resistance of the Linx Cloud platform and the provision of data protection, which is a necessary condition for the operation of state information systems (GIS) in it.
Attestation with UZ-1 and K1 assumes that the infrastructure of the data center and the cloud platform being tested meets all FSTEC requirements for the placement of personal data (PDn) up to the highest level of security.
It is important for the provider to ensure physical access control to the equipment on which PDNs are processed, the use of all appropriate certified protection tools and automation of security processes, as well as the presence of a dedicated professional IT team.
Based on the results of the infrastructure survey and the study of the documentation, the attestation commission confirmed the compliance of the Linx Cloud with all the necessary criteria. The first level of personal data protection allows the company’s clients, in particular, to certify their own systems located in the cloud.
For state structures and businesses working with state projects, data security is a key factor during migration to the cloud, especially when switching from foreign to local software. Domestic cloud solutions should combine flexibility and convenience familiar to users with the possibility of certification and deployment of GIS of any security classes.
The members of the certification commission noted the professional organization of cloud platform protection with a complex of IT services, as well as the high level of maturity and automation of IT processes of Linx Cloud. And the developed processes of inventory and accounting of assets played a big role in shortening the terms of works.” – emphasized Dmytro Poygin, director of the National Attestation Center.
“In the process of attestation, the settings of information protection tools, the presence of the necessary certificates of conformity, the checksums of distributions and installed SHI, as well as organizational documentation were checked. Despite the wide range of works, the project was completed in the shortest possible time. Passing certification with UZ-1 and K1 will allow Linx Cloud to offer cloud services to companies with the highest security requirements.” – commented Georgy Belyakov, head of Linx Cloud’s information security department.
