The Flipper Zero team received its own prefix for MAC addresses from IEEE / Habr

The founder of Flipper Devices, Pavlo Zhovner, said in his Telegram channel that the company received its own prefix for MAC addresses from the IEEE. Now the MAC addresses of all Flipper products start with 0C:FA:22. This applies to Ethernet, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interfaces. You can check the information on the portal standards-oui.ieee.org if you look through the list to the end.

Also, in early September 2024, the company released the Flipper Zero 1.0 firmware. The update adds support for apps, JavaScript, and a new NFC system. In addition, we worked on autonomy and speeded up Bluetooth operation with Android devices.

The second big update this year was the Video Game module for Flipper Zero. With its help, users can display images on external monitors, use the device as a digital oscilloscope or a wireless controller to control the mouse cursor.
