Blogger Scott Yu-Jan (Scott Yu-Jan) has developed a device that combines a docking station for iPad and Mac Studio. On the back there is an organizer for storing hard drives, and on the side there is a retractable hook for headphones.

YouTuber Scott Yu-Yang specializes in 3D printing and industrial design. Previously, he showed the process of developing a storage system for things in drawers and a portable version of the Mac Mini. Now the blogger talked about the design and manufacture of a multifunctional docking station.

The front part is designed for iPad mini. You can insert a tablet into a special groove and connect a charging cable. The plastic case itself is installed on the Mac Mini. The housing of the docking station is hollow. It has a special box for storing several hard drives. The author of the project made slots for connecting the cables so that the disks could be quickly and conveniently connected to the computer. On the side, there is a hook for storing headphones.

The iPad on the front can be used as an additional display. To do this, you need to connect the Mac Mini to the monitor, and in the settings, select the tablet as the second one. In this case, the image will be displayed over a wireless network. The blogger noted that it usually works on the main monitor, and on the iPad it displays Spotify, the YouTube tab, or uses it for handwriting with the Apple Pencil. If necessary, the tablet can be pulled out and taken with you.

Scott Yu-Yang printed the docking station on a 3D printer. At first, he made a version in white, but then decided to repeat the idea of Apple with multi-colored Macintoshes. After several attempts, he settled on the white version, as the most versatile and suitable for most interiors.
