Two laptops and a mini PC

In order to multiply the speed of information transmission over the network between inexpensive laptops that are not equipped with RJ45 and with the best Wi-Fi modules, we make a local network and connect laptops via USB -> RJ45 adapters to a switch, a router and directly between ourselves and a mini PC.

Laptops and mini PCs were purchased from one of the marketplaces at a very reasonable price. The first laptop for 20 thousand rubles. has a 2 TB solid-state drive and 24 GB of RAM, no RJ45, Wi-Fi module does not work very well in conditions of interference and three USB 3.0. The second laptop for 9500 rubles. has a 128 GB drive and 8 GB of RAM, no RJ45, very weak Wi-Fi and two USB 3.0.

Mini PC Beelink GK

The mini-PC has a 128 GB solid-state drive, 8 GB of RAM, two USB 3.0, one RJ45 and is capable of displaying 4k images on a TV.

We made a local network from two laptops, two USB-RJ45 and a cable.. The connection option via USB-RJ45, switch or router showed similar results of file transfer speed.

We check the increase in the total speed of file transfer for the circuit from the mini-PC and laptop-2 simultaneously through two USB-RJ45 adapters to laptop-1. It is relevant, for example, in the case of simultaneous backup on 2 computers and saving on the third computer.

In the endin my conditions of strong numerous interference from neighboring access points, it turned out to be significant advantage in terms of stability and data transfer speed of the scheme with USB-RJ45 adapters and inexpensive cable compared to the use of Wi-Fi modules built into the studied laptops and mini PCs.
