Tesla Cybertruck drove a little more than 400 km of the highway

Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup drove 409 km of the highway in tests with an average speed of 113 km/h on a full charge. At the same time, the manufacturer stated that the car has a range of 511 km.

After such a distance, the battery with a capacity of 123 kWh was completely discharged. The test was conducted at a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius.

The test was conducted in the morning on a highway in Texas to minimize the impact of traffic. It used a twin-engine Cybertruck in Founders Series trim with 20-inch wheels and 35-inch tires.

It is noted that off-road rubber could have affected the range. Tesla will later offer the Cybertruck all-season rubber, with a claimed range of 547 km.

It was previously reported that the first trips on the Tesla Cybertruck with real buyers revealed the strength of the body of the electric pickup after the accident with the Toyota Corolla and the possibility of recharging the Rivian R1T from the car’s on-board network.
