Steam and Rockstar Games Launcher have started preloading the PC version of Red Dead Redemption
Steam and Rockstar Games Launcher have started preloading the PC version of Red Dead Redemption. This option is not yet available in the Epic Games Store. Previously, Rockstar Games announced the release of the PC version of Red Dead Redemption and the Undead Nightmare addon on October 29.
The preload files are 9.4 GB in Rockstar Games Launcher and 8.3 GB in Steam.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption does not include multiplayer. This version was developed by RDR in collaboration with Double Eleven. The game will receive support for 4K with a frequency of up to 144 Hz, Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors, HDR10, as well as a keyboard and mouse.
In addition, developers have deployed RDR compatibility with Nvidia DLSS 3.7 scaling technologies and AMD FSR 3.0, Nvidia DLSS frame generation. In the game, you can adjust the range of drawing, adjust the quality of shadows and much more.
The first part of Red Dead Redemption and the addon Undead Nightmare were released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. Last year, the projects were ported to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on PS4 and Xbox One, and a year later the title was ported to PC.
