Sony could imperceptibly put the Dualsense V2 gamepad on sale

Retailer Best Buy has unveiled a new version of the Sony DualSense controller, which reportedly includes a charging dock. The company itself has not officially announced the release of the gamepad.

As noticed X Canadian user Lbabinz, Canada’s Best Buy website mentions a new “PlayStation 5 V2 DualSense Wireless Controller”.

The retail price of the new version is 90 Canadian dollars or about $67. Thus, it does not differ from the cost of the current version. It is possible that the seller mistakenly mentioned the charger.

Best Buy states that the controller can last for 12 hours on its own, just like the model.

Sony introduced the DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 in April 2020.

In November 2023, Valve revealed support for DualShock and DualSense on Steam. The change will make it easier for users to find supported games, sort and filter sections of the game store, and get compatibility information on individual product pages.
