RUDN began to teach the II student

Neurostudent Hryts Isaev appeared at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence of RUDN. It will help students learn material, structure information and perform other tasks, the PR service of the university said.

Neurostudent was created by a teacher and author of artificial intelligence programs at RUDN Rezaian Naim. Grisha Isaev is a neural network based on the large GigaChat language model from Sber. He interacts with students through a text interface, and communication is carried out through a terminal on the author’s PC.

As RUDN promises, soon the neurostudent will also have a graphic image based on a generative model and a unique voice, and the dialogue with him will be as close as possible to a conversation with another person.

Grisha Isaev will accumulate all data and store the history of his faculty and university. In particular, the computing power of the RUDN supercomputer is used to train the neurostudent.

“The main goal of creating Hrytsk Isayev is to help students with organizational issues that arise during their studies. In addition, during the semester, Grisha studies the same materials as the students. In this way, we get a tool with which we can assess the level of knowledge of our students. Thanks to neurostudent, teachers will be able to analyze their materials. And Grisha can also answer questions about the discipline in the absence of the teacher,” Anton Piddubskyi, dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence of RUDN, said.

GigaChat was made available to all users in September 2023. The neural network is able to answer user questions, maintain dialogue, write program code, create texts and images based on descriptions within a single context. The chatbot also supports multimodal interaction and communicates competently in Russian.
