Questionnaire of the it-project manager / Habr

Short description

Five years ago, an aspiring project manager created a questionnaire that would help them quickly understand the current state of a project. The questionnaire consisted of questions for key team members, with a focus on identifying potential or actual problems in the backlog, project infrastructure, code base, and business processes. Each question was supplemented with an answer option that could be a principle, methodology, framework, or decision from life. The creator of the questionnaire invited feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Questionnaire of the it-project manager / Habr

5 years ago, when I was looking for my first job as a project manager, I had the idea to make a questionnaire that would help me quickly dive into the project.

The questionnaire was to consist of questions for key team members. The questions were to familiarize the new manager with the current state of the project.

The main focus is to identify actual or potential problems in the backlog, project infrastructure, code base and business processes.

Realization

As key members of the team I singled out:

List of issues to be developed

List of issues for support

Then the idea arose to supplement each question with an answer option. The answer may be some principle, methodology, framework or simply a decision from life. It does not pretend to be the last resort, but it will help to navigate the situation or find another solution.

Leave comments, suggest new questions, write your ideas and suggestions for improvement (possible via MR).
