Positive Technologies predicts an increase in net profit for 2023 by more than 70% to 8.5 billion rubles

Positive Technologies, a company specializing in cyber security, has published unaudited reporting data for the year 2023. Based on these data, the company expects net profit to grow by more than 70%, says the website of Positive Technologies.

The expected volume of shipments by the end of 2023 is 25.3 billion rubles. The Company takes into account projected payment adjustments received by March 31, 2024. Positive Technologies said this result was within management’s expectations and forecasts. Compared to 2022, the growth in the volume of shipments was 74%.

In 2023, the company noted high demand for flagship products. Thus, the volume of shipments of the MaxPatrol SIEM information security event management system amounted to more than 7.5 billion rubles – this is 80% more than in 2022. Shipments of MaxPatrol VM tripled to 4.2 billion rubles. In addition, in 2023, the company made the first shipments of the MaxPatrol O2 metaproduct.

Positive Technologies also called the PT Financial Services program in high demand, in which customers can purchase the company’s products and solutions on credit from partner banks.

The press release emphasizes that the company has fulfilled the task of growing profits and maintaining high business margins: the projected profitability of net profit excluding capitalized costs (NIC) for the results of 2023 should exceed the mark of 30%. As a result, in absolute terms, net profit has increased by more than 70%, and in just the last two years, NIC has increased 7 times.

Positive Technologies plans to publish its final financial and management reports on April 9.
