OpenAI will open the official GPT Store next week

OpenAI developers have announced the opening of access to the GPT Store chatbot store next week. On the platform, users will be able to sell and exchange customized AI agents based on OpenAI’s large language models.

Emails were sent to users asking them to double-check that their GPT-based chatbots comply with the rules.

Developers are also advised to familiarize themselves with the updated policies and guidelines for the use of the GPT brand.

To host your chatbot, you need to verify your developer profile (settings > builder profile > enable your name or a verified website). Then you need to list your app as “public” (chatbots with “Everyone with a link” selected will not appear in the store).

In early December, OpenAI delayed the launch of the GPT Store due to “several unexpected circumstances.”

In November, the company introduced GPTs chatbot builder, which allows users to include special capabilities, specific knowledge and skills in ChatGPT.
