LoveFrom Joni Ive’s light layered suits with minimal seams and buttons start at $2,440
Information has appeared on the cost of lightweight layered suits with a minimum of seams and no buttons from Jony Ive’s LoveFrom company and French fashion brand Moncler. Innovative clothes can be ordered with delivery from October 10. Prices start at $2,440 for a parka, $2,575 for a light jacket, and $3,115 for a down jacket. The poncho is not yet available for sale.
The clothing collection is made from high-quality recycled nylon and is available in white, yellow, green and light blue. An orange poncho is expected to be sold.
“We spent months and months researching fasteners, buttons, and buttons before we even started painting,” LoveFrom said. So, a special button appeared in LoveFrom clothes, which is a two-component magnet made of aluminum, brass and steel. It connects any part of the base layer of clothing to any shell at five different points.
LoveFrom also insisted that each individual item be made from one piece of material. This made it possible to “make each piece of clothing from a single piece of fabric that simply folds together,” Moncler said in a press release.
At the beginning of September, LoveFrom together with the Moncler brand presented a light multi-layer suit in the form of a transformer jacket with a minimum number of seams and buttons. External elements of clothing are attached to the base using a MagSafe analogue.
The first model of the project is a warm vest to which a poncho, jacket or parka can be attached using a magnet. Such clothing feels like a warm kimono. The clothing elements of each of the three additional layers are sewn in such a way that their shape is revealed without seams.
