Apple introduced spatial games on Vision Pro as part of Apple Arcade

Apple talked about the capabilities of the Vision Pro headset when activating spatial games. The company called it “the beginning of a new era”.

While there are more than 250 games available on Vision Pro via Apple Arcade, the company has highlighted 12 “unique spatial solutions” that are available exclusively through a gaming subscription.

Spatial games created specifically for Arcade on Apple Vision Pro combine digital content with the physical world. Thanks to visionOS, they are controlled by eyes, hands and voice. Yes, players can slice apples with their hands, move freely around the golf course, get audio-visual experiences and much more.

The list of space games includes:

  • Game Room,

  • WHAT THE GOLF?,

  • Cut the Rope 3,

  • Jetpack Joyride 2,

  • Patterned,

  • Illustrated,

  • Wylde Flowers,

  • stitch.,

  • Synth Riders,

  • LEGO Builder’s Journey,

  • Bloons TD 6+,

  • Super Fruit Ninja.

The company added that more games are coming to Apple Arcade soon, including Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City, Gibbon: Beyond the Trees and Spire Blast.

‌Apple Arcade‌ was launched in 2019. Subscriptions are available for $6.99 per month. It provides access to hundreds of ad-free games on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro. The service is also included in the Apple One subscription package, which starts at $19.95 per month.

Previously, Unity added support for Apple Vision Pro for all game developers. Tools for working with visionOS are available in Unity Pro, Enterprise and Industry tariffs.
