A patent for a “magical” iPhone stand for the Apple Store has been published
A recently published patent titled “Reduced Motion Product Display Stand” describes an iPhone stand that will be used in Apple Stores around the world.
The patent describes numerous features designed to keep the product at the top of the display in the same place. These include the damping of any movement, the rapid reduction of any oscillations, and the reduction of moments of interaction between the consumer and the product. The key to all of this is the damping chamber that sits beneath the visible base of the kickstand. It is usually located under the surface of the table in the Apple Store.
The stand has already been demonstrated in the Apple Store and at presentations of new products.
Earlier, Apple received a patent for a protective case for the new Vision Pro virtual reality headset.
