[Перевод] Salmon and a car

One of the most interesting things that serendipity can throw at a computer scientist is a complex socio-technical task in an industry undergoing digital transformation. In my case it was a task of counting fish. I recently worked as an environmental consultant, focusing on counting fish passing through large hydroelectric dams. Working on this big project, I learned about how human-participated dataset creation systems are managed and how such systems are coordinated. In addition, I learned about the difficulties and surprises that accompany someone who tries to understand the results of research and share them with those who are interested in them.
